Buyer and Seller Info

Seller Information:

  • We do not sell "yard sale" type items unless they come with an entire estate.
  • We require at least 2 weeks lead time between receiving your items and selling them for advertising and tagging purposes.
  • Most of our fees are commissioned based with no out of pocket fees from our sellers. Example: If your items sells for $100 and we charge a 20% commission then your profit will be $80.
  • Our commission rate will vary depending upon the items and volume of items being sold. We must also weigh moving costs when relocating items or estates into our auction house.
  • We have 30 days in which to pay our sellers. However, we attempt to do so within 14 business days.
  • We are required to complete a contract or consignors agreement for all sellers. Due to the volume of items that we receive it is imperative that both the seller and our company have a list of the key items being sold 
  • Regarding estates and business liquidations: we recommend selling these 'on-site" when possible. In making that determination we look at parking, subdivision restrictions,setup area,etc.However, we routinely move large estates and businesses into our auction house.
  • We typically DO NOT allow reserves on any item except firearms. In this case we do allow "competitive" reserves. Any potential reserve items must be discussed during the completion of the contract or consignors agreement.
  •  All firearms are logged into our records from the person bringing in the firearm . A drivers license is required when consigning firearms.
  • We typically advertise in all local papers, mail over 1000 brochures, send over 2000 e-mails and list each auction, with photos, online.
The service we provide is making the liquidation of your items, business or estate as simple as possible. We do not require our sellers to lift a finger and prefer it when they stand back and let us do what we do best. We can give you an empty house or business, wall to wall with no effort on your behalf. Buyer Information:

  • Anyone can buy at our auctions. You DO NOT have to be a dealer.
  • Buyers cannot bid on their own items.
  • We charge a 10% buyers premium at all sales. This means 10% is automatically added to your bid. A 3% Credit Card fee is also charged when paying with a credit card. We accept Visa/MC/AMEX
  • Sales tax is charged unless we have a tax exempt form on file for your business.
  • All firearms purchases are licensed. You must be 18 or older to purchase long guns and long gun ammo. You must be 21 or older to purchase handguns or handgun ammo. ATF paperwork is required and background checks are performed unless you have a valid, in date, SC Concealed Weapons Permit. with you. Out of state bidders may purchase long guns. However, we are required to ship all handgun purchases to a FFL dealer in your state where you will need to complete appropriate paperwork. Out of state bidders are also required to complete paperwork and background checks on long guns.
  • Shipping charges do apply when we ship any items.
  • As a general rule we do not allow absentee, phone or internet bidding. However, absentee or phone bidding is allowed only when the bidder has previewed the auction personally.
  • There are no tie bids at our auctions. When we called sold the high bidder that the Auctioneer has is the winner. Bidding is never re-opened under any circumstances.
